UPAWS Adopt a Cat Month
June is adopt a shelter cat month at the Upper Peninsula Animal Welfare Shelter.
The summer time is the busiest season at UPAWS, especially for cats.
But, for the entire month of June you can name the price you want to pay to adopt a new furry friend.
Regular adoptions fees are an average of $150.00 per cat.
Right now UPAWS has about 60 cats of all ages and personality types ready for adoption.
Every feline adopted in June will be entered into a drawing for a cat themed gift basket.
