Brewery Opens in Marquette
After years of planning and hard work, the newest brewery in the U.P. has opened.
The Ore Dock Brewing Company in downtown Marquette is open to the public.
With a variety of craft beer – brewed on premises – the dream has become a reality and the owners are excited for what’s next.
The W. Spring Street location is a converted garage, renovated with rustic ore dock pilings, polished concrete floors and a minimalist look that creates an urban feel.
On any given night, the brewery hopes to have between 6 and 9 different craft beers on tap for customers.
The business is all about beer. As is, there is nothing available for purchase other than beer! However, there is a clear ‘food friendly’ atmosphere: bring in something to eat, or have it delivered, while having a freshly brewed beer.
