MAHS Anti-Bullying March
“Love Out Loud” was the message shouted through the streets of Marquette today as dozens of people joined an anti-bullying march.
Students from Marquette Alternative High School and members of the community marched to stamp out bullying.
The issue has become a major topic in schools, and the students want that to change.
Cindy DePetro says she’s thrilled with her students for organizing the march and encouraging other community members to join them.
Olympic and X Games snowboarder Nick Baumgartner took part in the march.
The group was also given support by local businesses and spectators who lined the streets.
