School Food Tour Winding Down
After a journey that covers eight months, nearly 5,000 miles, five time zones and 17 states, a Yooper is almost home.
Sara Salo of Houghton has been traveling since last August to spread the message to schools and students of eating healthy and staying active to maintain a healthy life style.
Today she stopped at Marquette Senior High School to share her message.
Sara is excited to be completing her journey in Houghton on Friday.
She’ll start her final ride in Baraga, joined for the final few miles by some local schoolkids on their bikes as well.
