Goodwill Recycling Drop-Off Center
Earth Day 2012 has come and gone, but the efforts are not over.
Many organizations are hosting month-long events to bring awareness to reducing, reusing and recycling.
Goodwill Industries regularly participates in recycling, and they’ve chosen this week to launch a recycling drive at their Calumet work center in Houghton County to celebrate Earth Month.
Workforce Development Regional Manager Keith Stenger says that if the effort works, Goodwill may expand to be a recycling drop–off center permanently.
The recycling drive lasts through Saturday.
