USOEC Spring Cleanup
For one athletic group at Northern Michigan university, spring means cleanup time.
The athletes and coaches of the USOEC picked up trash today along Lakeshore Boulevard in Marquette.
USOEC speedskater Chris Creveling says the Spring Cleanup project allows the athletes to come together and accomplish something as one group.
Chris also says the athletes take pride in the community they live in and want to help keep it clean.
The USOEC Spring Cleanup is one of many service projects that the coaches and athletes volunteer for each year.
