Ironwood Twp. Auto Thefts Follow-Up
The Gogebic County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the Wakefield man who was arrested for stealing several vehicles over the weekend.
19–year–old Eric Karjala allegedly stole three different vehicles from different areas of Ironwood Township between late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
Officials say he stole one vehicle, abandoned it and then stole another vehicle.
Karjala is facing three counts of unlawful driving of an automobile and one count of larceny from a motor vehicle.
He’s being held in the Gogebic County Jail on $2,500.
