Copper Country United Way Issues a "Thank You"
The Copper Country United Way says it appreciates the community’s generosity in the annual fundraising effort. The campaign raised more than $128,000 to support 14 local agencies and organizations.
CCUW President Grace Tousignant expressed her appreciation to local residents and businesses who donated, adding that they contribute generously and are vital to the success of the United Way’s efforts.
Tousignant said that people looked beyond their own needs and reached out to help others which is the spirit and nature of the greater Copper Country community.
A total of 265 individuals and 56 businesses and organizations contributed to the campaign.
