Fatal Rollover Accident in Negaunee
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a fatal car accident today in Negaunee.
It happened at about 11 this morning on Maas Street, just west of Forge Road.
Negaunee Police say 46-year-old Terrence Lyons of Ishpeming was heading east when he lost control of his Mitsubishi Montero.
He drove off the north side of the road and rolled over.
Lyons was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
State Police from the Negaunee Post, the Negaunee Fire Department and the Chocolay Township and Ishpeming Police Departments were among the personnel that assisted at the scene.
