Hancock Counterfeiting
Counterfeit money has been circulated again in the U.P.
The Hancock Police Department sent out an alert today about the fake money.
A local financial institution which wants to remain anonymous has reported two counterfeit $20 bills.
The bogus bills were discovered through local business deposits over the last week.
Hancock Police are asking local merchants to keep a look out for counterfeit twenties.
If you know anything about this crime, they’re asking you to contact your local police agency.
