Special Olympic Games

The 25th annual Upper Peninsula winter games for Special Olympic

Athletes are underway.

They started today with skiing at Marquette mountain.

Some 160 athletes are expected to participate as they honor the motto:

Let me win, but if i cannot win, let me be brave in the

Attempt.

Six skiers and 2 snowboarders took to the ski hill this afternoon to show off their skills and abilities.

Opening ceremonies will be held tomorrow morning at the Superior Dome.
