Marquette Christmas Tree Disposal
City of Marquette residents who are ready to dispose of a Christmas tree can do so starting tomorrow at two sites in the city.
Through January 16th, “green bag users” or residents paying the garbage/yard waste fees on their monthly bills are eligible to start using the drop-off sites.
The two drop-off sites are the west end of the Lakeview Arena parking lot and 850 West Baraga Avenue.
Residents can obtain access from Baraga avenue or West Spring Street.
All you have to do is place your tree inside the orange fencing and remove all decorations.
Owners and tenants of properties not paying the fees should contact their regular waste hauler.
