Eclettico Orhcestra Performs to Raise Funds
With many people home for the holidays this week one group of former students is taking advantage and turning their winter break into a fundraising opportunity.
The Eclettico Chamber Orchestra will be hosting two concerts this week.
The group was formed last year and is made up of about 15 former and current orchestra students from the Negaunee and Marquette School Districts.
Each year the musicians volunteer their time and skills to raise money for the schools music programs.
Whether your a fan of classical or pop music the string players promise to have a little something for everyone.
Both of the concerts are free but donations are encouraged.
The first concert will take place at 7:30 this Wednesday in the Negaunee High School Auditorium.
The second will be held Thursday at 7:30 at St Michaels
Catholic Church in Marquette.
All donations raised will go straight to the Marquette and Negaunee School Orchestra programs.
