Bob Seger Praises Pictured Rocks

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Alger County already has one well–known fan from Michigan’s music world.

Last year, Kid Rock shot some scenes for his “Born Free” music video there.

And now the lakeshore apparently has another famous Michigan musician as a fan — Bob Seger.

He recently did an interview with the Grand Rapids Press that the newspaper printed yesterday.

The reporter asked him, “If you could visit only one place in Michigan, where would you go?”

“Pictured Rocks is pretty cool up in the Upper Peninsula,” Seger said, “and it’s a little out of my driving range.

I would like to go there again.

I really want to see that from the water.”
