From The Heart at Gwinn High School

Students from Gwinn High School have another place to get clothes and even Christmas gifts for free.

What started with a few bags of old clothes has now become enough clothes to start a small store.

The “From the Heart” store had a grand re–opening on Monday in the school office.

Gwinn High School guidance counselor Polly Hammerschmidt says the program was once meant to provide more clothing options for less fortunate female students.

But it’s grown into a place for male students to shop as well.

The program is open to any student, but priority will be given to students who receive free or reduced lunch.

From the Heart will be open for the remainder of the school year.
