UPSET Arrests three for Heroin Possession

The continued crackdown on drugs in the UP has landed three Menominee residents in jail.

The trio was arrested in connection with heroin possession.

Police arrested the first man: a known drug distributor leaving a known drug house. He had 50 packets of heroin on him.

A search warrant on the residence led to two more arrests.

A woman and another man were both charged with maintaining a drug house. The man also had two outstanding warrants.

No names will be released until the individuals have been arraigned.

The operation was carried out by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team with help from Menominee and Marinette City

Police and the Menominee County Sheriff’s Department.
