“We Remember You” Alzheimer’s Tribute Film

A U.P. native who was once an actress on shows like “General Hospital” has devoted much of her time recently to awareness of Alzheimer’s disease.

And she wants help from other U.P. residents in her latest effort.

Lisa Cerasoli recently wrote an acclaimed memoir, “As Nora Jo Fades Away”.

It’s about her experiences caring for her grandmother, who suffered from Alzheimer’s.

She also recently made a short documentary film, “14 Days With Alzheimer’s” about those experiences.

This Friday will be the one–year anniversary of Nora Jo’s death.

Lisa says she originally wanted to make a tribute film to Nora Jo but decided to make a tribute to as many local families that have been touched by dementia as she can.

She’s calling the video tribute “We Remember You”, and she wants to hear from U.P. residents who’ve lost a loved one to Alzheimer’s or other dementia-related conditions.

But in order to be included in the video, she would need to hear from you by 5 pm tomorrow.

That’s because she intends to post the video to her YouTube channel, and Facebook, before the holidays.

If you want to get in touch with Lisa, you can e-mail her at: lisa@fivestarscripts.com .

She’s asking everyone who e-mails her to send her the response “Yes”, along with several things:

— 1 to 3 photos of the person in the family who suffered from dementia

— the person’s name

— the person’s year of birth and year of death

— the person’s occupation or favorite hobby
