Two Hurt in Negaunee Twp. Rollover
Two young women were hurt Saturday night in a rollover accident in Negaunee Township.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department says it happened shortly after 9:30 pm on East Buffalo Road near County Road 480.
21–year–old Thomas Richer of Negaunee lost control of his vehicle.
It left the road and overturned.
His two passengers, 20–year–old Samantha VanLinden of Marquette and 21–year–old Jacquelyn Johnson of Negaunee, suffered minor injuries.
VanLinden was taken to bell hospital.
Johnson sought her own treatment.
Richer was not hurt, but he was cited for speeding.
The Negaunee Township Fire Department and Bell EMS helped out at the scene.
