Suspect Sought in MTU attack
Nearly two months after it happened, police are on the look-out for a man who sexually assaulted a woman in Houghton.
Public Safety and Police Services say a 19-year-old female Michigan Tech Student was attacked while jogging along Lakeshore Drive in early morning hours on October 4th.
According to the police information, a man emerged from the bushes, pinned the victim to the ground, groped her and fled.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5 feet-10 to 11 inches tall, and was wearing dark clothing. The lower half of his face was covered.
The assault is still being investigated.
