Hancock for the Holidays

The Friday after Thanksgiving traditionally marks the official beginning of the Christmas season.

Many Copper Country residents will head to the stores in search of great deals, others will be setting up their Christmas decorations—if they haven’t already!—and, then there’s the leftovers from Thursday’s dinner to eat!

But when the sun goes down, the place to be is downtown Hancock for the Annual Christmas Walk.

Santa will be there taking part in the parade and taking pictures with children at City Hall. Be sure to decorate some Christmas cookies while your there.

Many of the downtown shops will be open and they’ll have treats as well. And…you don’t want to miss the carolers!

To make the evening Currier and Ives picture perfect…there will be horse-drawn sleigh rides through the heart of the city!

The fun begins at 6pm and parking is free but be sure to arrive early.
