Keweenaw National Historical Park open house

The Keweenaw National Historical Park will hold an open house at the newly-renovated Union Building in Calumet. This historic structure will become home to the Park’s first visitor’s center.

Senator Carl Levin will be on hand to take part of the ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 27th.

The day is filled with activities including tours and a pasty lunch. The evening will conclude with the premier of the film Risk and Resilience with Nancy Haffner. The film focuses on how the mining industry impacted the local area.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony begins at 10:00 A-M.
