Busy Day for the 5-1 Lions

It was a day of good news and bad news for the Detroit Lions. On the negative side of things, starting running back Jahvid Best is being held out of practice, after suffering concussion like symptoms, this according to Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz. His status for Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons is unknown.

In order to prepare for not having Best, the Lions acquired Philadelphia Eagles running back Ronnie Brown in exchange for running back Jerome Harrison and a 2013 7th round draft pick. Brown is a 2005 1st round draft selection of the Miami Dolphins. He rushed for a career high 1,008 yards in 2006.
