Three Local Men tied to A string of Break-ins

Three local men are have been arrested and may be responsible for a string of burglaries both in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Troopers from the Michigan State Police Wakefield and Ontonagon Post have say that a Sunday traffic stop by the Iron County Wisconsin Sheriff’s Department has lead to the arrest of the three men.

The police departments have been working closely together on the investigation.

The three men are suspected of breaking into several businesses and residences over a three month period.

The break-ins occurred in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Police have determined that cash was their primary target through the theft of computers, cell phones, and a cash register.

Officers are trying to recover additional items.

The men have waived extradition and are currently in the Iron County Jail in Wisconsin where they face multiple felony charges.

The case is still under investigation.
