Outboard Motor Stolen
The Chocolay Township Police Department is investigating the theft of a 2005 Mercury 9.9hp outboard motor. The theft occurred sometime between noon Monday, 09/12/11, and 9AM Wednesday, 09/14/2011, from a residence in Harvey. It is believed that the motor was taken between 11:30PM Tuesday night and 9AM Wednesday morning. Police believe the suspects crossed M-28 with the motor in the area of Marquette Meats in that time frame.
The Chocolay Police Department asks that anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in that area contact them at 249-4040.
