It pays to pay attention when you are behind the wheel.
Otherwise, you could end up with a new custom paint job on your vehicle.
This morning in Marquette Township, a local painter lost a 5-gallon bucket of latex based paint off the back of his truck.
He said he thought he had secured the paint before he left the hardware store.
Local law enforcement officers blocked off the area and called in firefighters to wash away the paint so that it wouldn’t splatter on passing cars.
The painter was not cited, but he will be billed for the cost of the cleanup.
