NICE Schools Survey

Area kids still have 5 days until they have to return to the classroom.

And as kids are heading back, one local school district wants to know how it should improve itself.

The NICE Community School District is conducting a first-ever School Stakeholder Perception Survey.

Students, parents, teachers and others in the community can take it.

Superintendent Mike Haynes says the district is in the process of changing its mission statement.

He says while that process is going on, district staff want to know if there are any ways that stand out in people’s minds in which the NICE schools can better serve the needs of all students.

The district is especially interested in the culture of the school district — whether it’s one in which students feel comfortable.

If you want to take the survey, you can fill it out online by going here

You can also pick up a paper copy from any of the district offices.

Whichever way you choose, you’ll need to submit the survey by September 9th.

Haynes says the district will report the results once it has them.
