Missing Woman Search Enters Day 4
The four-day search continues tonight in the Keweenaw for a missing woman.
55–year–old Valerie Sue Palmer was last seen Saturday.
The Houghton Police, the Houghton County Sheriff’s Department, Superior Search and Rescue, the Coast Guard and the Civil Air Patrol are participating in the search for her.
She was last seen at about 7 Saturday night on Townsend Drive in Houghton, near the College Avenue Wells Fargo bank.
Some of palmer’s belongings were found Sunday morning on a boat in Torch Bay.
Palmer is 5’8″ and weighs about 145 pounds.
She has shoulder–length white hair with hazel eyes, and she also wears glasses.
Palmer was last seen wearing aqua–colored capri pants, a white and yellow tank top and a broad–rimmed visor.
