Marquette Township Fire
Fire damages a house in Marquette Township this morning.
It happened shortly after 7:30 this morning at 333 County Road 550.
That’s about a mile north of the Marquette city line.
The blaze apparently started in the rear of the home.
It spread to the kitchen and living room before township firefighters could get there.
They needed less than half an hour to knock the flames down.
No one was home at the time.
The cause, and the extent of the damage, are still to be determined.
