New Contract for Negaunee Teachers
Teachers in Negaunee have a new two–year contract.
The Negaunee school board approved contracts for both its teachers and support staff unions last night
Earlier this month both sides made concessions, including the board changing the budget to save teachers’ jobs.
Both the teachers and support staff members agreed to pay 10% of their health care costs.
The agreement qualifies the district for additional funding through following state-specified best practices.
