If you hear a very loud, blaring noise in Delta County a little later this week, it’s not a sign of an air raid or any other emergency.
It’s a test to make sure part of the county is ready if there ever is a public health emergency.
Gladstone is planning to test its emergency warning siren Wednesday at noon.
The test will last for about five minutes.
The emergency warning siren is in place to alert residents of severe weather and other dangers.
