Esky Fatal Car Fire Update
Escanaba Public Safety releases the name of the man found dead in a flaming car over the weekend.
26–year–old Adam Campbell of Escanaba has been identified as the victim.
Police found a vehicle at about 3:30 Saturday morning fully engulfed in flames.
It was on the 300 block of South 19th Street.
When the fire was put out, they found Campbell inside the vehicle, dead.
An autopsy was performed yesterday at OSF St. Francis Hospital.
Final results relating to the cause of death are pending.
The investigation is ongoing, with assistance from several state and county police agencies.
