MI Hotelier of the Year
A Marquette woman has been recognized for doing her job well — doing the best job with what she does of anyone in Michigan, in fact.
Gail Anthony is the general manager of the Marquette Country Inn & Suites by Carlson.
She has been given the Michigan Lodging and Tourism Association award for being the 2011 Hotelier of the Year.
It’s based on hotel performance, guest satisfaction, employee relations and community involvement.
