Search continues for Armed Suspect in Credit Union Robbery

Police in Iron River are still looking for the armed robber who got away with money from the Superior Iron Range Community Federal Credit Union shortly before 10:30 Central time Tuesday morning.

Iron River Police describe the suspect as a stocky young male, standing about 5’9″.

He was said to be wearing a black helmet with a mask that fully covered his face, as well as dark green coveralls.

The suspect left the scene on a green four–wheeler, heading northwest.

There’s no word on how much money was taken.
