Adjournment in Bruce Crossing Abuse Case
There’s no new court date yet for an Ontonagon County man arrested in Nevada back in December on child sexual abuse charges.
50-year-old Patrick Nippa of Bruce Crossing was scheduled for arraignment in Ontonagon County Circuit Court yesterday.
But there’s been an adjournment in the case and a new date has not been set yet.
Nippa is still in the Ontonagon County Jail on $3 million bond.
He’s facing 14 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The charges involve several alleged victims.
Nippa was arrested a few days before Christmas at a casino near the Nevada-Arizona state line.
At that time, State Police from the Wakefield Post said the charges dated back more than 20 years.
