A new Michigan tax credit is trying to encourage investment in start-up technology companies.
It’s called the angel credit program.
It allows qualified investors to get a 25% personal tax credit on investments in Michigan–based start-up and early stage companies that are worth less than $10 million.
But the business and the investor have to get state approval ahead of time.
If you want the complete details and requirements of the program, you can get them by phone, toll free, at 1–888–522–0103.
