Traveling around the U.P. seems to be getting easier every day, as more road construction projects are wrapping up.

And while MDOT0 stopped work on most major projects for the holiday weekend, crews will be back to work in Baraga County tomorrow morning.

US-41 near Keweenaw Bay has been under construction since the end of April.

Erosion of the road has cause MDOT to re-locate about a mile and a half of the highway further inland.

The road has been considered a single lane closure from south of Jurmu Road to north of Kelsey Creek.

The work is expected to continue through late October.
