Fatal ATV Crash in Ishpeming
An Ishpeming man dies in a 4-wheeler accident this morning.
Ishpeming Police say it happened just east of Malton Road shortly before 11am.
27-year-old Ryan Filizetti died at the scene.
Police say it appears Filizetti was carrying spools of guy line off the property when the cable fell off the front of the 4-wheeler and got caught under the tires.
When that happened, the top of the cable pushed Filizetti over the back of the 4–wheeler and pin him on the back rack.
Bell EMS helped out at the scene.
