North Star Elementary School Groundbreaking
Marquette Township’s charter school celebrates a huge achievement.
North Star Academy holds an official groundbreaking ceremony for its new elementary school.
The elementary expansion has been two years in the making.
It’ll include a small gymnasium to offer more activities for all students at the school, regardless of grade level.
School CEO Karen Anderson says the new addition has been appealing for many area families, with enrollment for those not just in the township but throughout the region.
North Star Academy’s new elementary school addition is expected to be finished by August 20th.
That’s just in time for the first day of school on September 7th.
