Marquette Man Jailed on Sex Abuse Charges
A Marquette man sits in the county jail tonight on 3 counts of sexually abusing a child.
40-year-old Edward James Charbonneau was arraigned yesterday on District Court on 3 counts of 1st-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Marquette Police accuse him of having sexual contact with a girl under the age of 13 on repeated occasions.
Charbonneau is being held on $3,500 bond.
1st-degree CSC is a felony with a possible sentence of up to life in prison if there’s a conviction.
