2nd Assault Charge from Esky Stabbing

An Escanaba man is facing a more serious charge from a recent stabbing in the city.

20-year-old Michael Bizeau is now charged with assault with intent to commit murder.

That’s in addition to the original charge, assault with intent to commit great bodily harm less than murder.

The charges comes from a fight on February 26th at Bizeau’s girlfriend’s house on South 10th Street in Escanaba.

Bizeau got into an argument with 40-year-old David Greenfield about Bizeau’s girlfriend.

Bizeau is accused of stabbing Greenfield and also hurting his own girlfriend when she tried to break up the fight.

Both victims were taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital.

Bizeau’s Circuit Court arraignment hasn’t been scheduled yet.

He’s being held on $50,000 cash bond.
