Guilty Plea to Break-Ins & Using Stolen Credit Card

An Escanaba man pleads guilty to a series of break-ins and to using a credit card stolen in one of the break-ins.

It’s 24-year-old Shannon Nault.

He pleaded guilty this morning to illegal use of a financial transaction device, breaking and entering with intent, attempted B&E with intent and B&E into a coin-operated device.

Other counts against him have been dismissed, including habitual offender status that prosecutors were trying to attach.

He’ll be sentenced on January 21st.

Nault is one of 5 people who’ve been arrested in the case.

The credit card was stolen from Bach Mobilities in Escanaba on May 1st.

The other break-ins happened in Baldwin Township and Cornell in April and May.
