The class week ends normally at Escanaba Middle School after it had to be locked down 2 different times yesterday.
One of those was just before 8am.
Someone saw a student hiding what appeared to be a weapon on school property.
Public Safety looked into it, and it turned out to be a BB gun.
Then, shortly after 12 noon, someone found a bomb threat written on a restroom wall.
Public Safety swept through the building, but there were no explosives.
Both students could be charged in Probate Court.
They’re also facing disciplinary action at school, which includes possible expulsion.
The bomb threat was the 5th one at an Escanaba school since September 2007.
