Teen Jailed Again in Car Theft Case

A teenager from Negaunee who’s already in jail for fraud will now spend another year behind bars.

17-year-old Alex Pascoe pleaded guilty last week to 2 counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and 1 count of aggravated assault.

Negaunee Police arrested him in August.

They accused him of stealing 2 vehicles, driving them while drunk, crashing them both and then trying to run from police.

Last month, Pascoe was sentenced to 8 months in jail for common fraud.

Marquette City Police arrested him in June after he’d gone door-to-door, asking for donations for victims of the 581 Fire.

He didn’t turn the money over to the victims and never had authorization to collect the money in the first place.
