Marijuana Plants Found in Corn Field

2 Dickinson County men are arrested in northern Wisconsin for growing marijuana in a corn field.

The Northeast Wisconsin Tri-County Drug Task Force says they got an anonymous tip about that last week.

The tip helped them get a search warrant for a corn field in Beaver, Wisconsin.

Last Wednesday, they say they found marijuana plants growing there — more than 90 of them, in fact, worth nearly $50,000 on the street.

48-year-old Mark Baker and 38-year-old Eric Warmboe are both from Channing.

They were both at the corn field at the time, and they’re accused of manufacturing marijuana.

The drug task force says the Marinette County Sheriff’s Department and Marinette City Police have helped out in the case.
