With health care reform on so many of our minds, the U.P.’s voice in Congress hasn’t hosted any in-person town hall meetings about it.
Until now, that is.
Congressman Bart Stupak is having one in the U.P. this weekend.
It’ll be at Lakeview School in Negaunee at 8 Saturday morning.
It’s open to anyone who’d like to ask him about issues like health care and the economy.
Stupak and his staff won’t allow any signs, banners or posters inside the school.
Cameras or tape recorders are also off limits, except for members of the news media.
He’s also having another town hall meeting by phone a week from tonight at 6.
If you want to take part in that one, you can sign up through his website, www.house.gov/stupak , or by calling his office.
And you can do that toll-free at 1-800-950-7371.
