Special Prosecutor for Judge Drunk Driving Case
A special prosecutor from downstate Cheboygan County will work the drunk driving case against a U.P. judge.
Daryl Vizina is that county’s prosecuting attorney.
He’ll handle the case against Judge Charles Nebel, who works probate court for Alger and Schoolcraft Counties.
He was arrested July 24th after driving through Luce County at speeds that state police say were over 100 miles per hour.
Troopers caught up with Nebel in Schoolcraft County, and they say he had a blood alcohol content above the legal limit of 0.08%.
Judge Nebel’s next court appearance is his arraignment in Manistique a week from tomorrow.
