Hancock Middle School Closed by Water Main Break
A water main break in Hancock forces the city’s middle school to close for the day.
But it’ll be open again Monday.
The water main break was on Ryan Street a block away from Quincy Street.
Crews from a contracting firm fixed the break this afternoon.
It’s been a recurring problem.
About a week and a half ago, there was another leak on Ryan Street.
The school was without water for part of the day yesterday too.
City crews were already busy fixing a break on Michigan Avene and M-203.
That’s why they needed to bring in a contractor.
