Hair Salon Helping Cancer Research
A Marquette hair salon donates most of its day cutting hair to cancer research.
The Jessica & Company hair salon put on Cuts for the Cause earlier today.
They were giving away free haircuts to anyone willing to donate their hair.
The donated hair will go to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, which will use the hair to make wigs for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
Considering the brisk business they saw today, that probably means a lot more wigs!
Today’s event was the brainchild of one of the hairstylists and DJ Crisco Kidd of Houston, Texas.
He’s in Marquette hosting a pair of cancer research benefits this weekend at the Matrixx nightclub.
