Underage Girls In Snowmobile Accident
2 underage girls not old enough to be riding legally get into a weekend snowmobile accident, injuring 1 of them.
State police say it happened Sunday afternoon on a trail near Ewen, noth of M-28.
The passenger caught her left leg on the snowmobile’s left track.
She was brought to Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital for a sprained ankle.
The girls were both 14 years old.
State law says anyone using a snowmobile without an adult’s supervision has to be at least 16.
