Spread Eagle Murder Arraignment
The Iron Mountain man accused of stabbing another man to death returns to court for arraignment.
40-year-old Ian Spencer is accused of killing 41-year-old Jeffrey Youren, who was also from Iron Mountain.
It happened at Saloon Number 2 in Spread Eagle, Wisconsin on September 6th.
At Spencer’s preliminary exam, witnesses said Youren was stabbed to death while trying to break up a barroom brawl between Spencer, his girlfriend and 2 other people.
Youren died before police could get there.
His attacker had fled by then.
They later found Spencer across the state line in Iron Mountain and arrested him there.
Spencer is still in the Dickinson County Correctional Center on $300,000 bond.
